Activities:

 1.   Comprehensive research on various environment-related issues such as watershed management, water pollution, solid waste management, natural resources management and on other social and economic issues.

2.   Create awareness among local people about indigenous technologies and help conserve them.

3.   Conduct training, workshop, provide technical know-how to relevant people especially in environmental issues.

4.   Participate in watershed and natural resources management programs.

5.   Conduct income-generating activities through creation of revolving funds in rural areas.

6.   Provide consulting service on watershed management, natural resources management, micro-credits, pollution prevention and control, and technology transfer.

7.   Co-ordinate with international organizations, donor agencies, manufacturers and facilitate transfer of new technology  and knowledge to solve emerging environmental problems.

Recently, CETED has involved in Aerial Photo Interpretation for Degraded Lands in the Mid hills of Nepal. A GIS Appraisal in Quantifying and Planning for Sustainable Rehabilitation Project with the collaboration of LI-BIRD, Pokhara, Nepal.
